Overview
Courses and locations are required before you can create a class. Courses define what is being taught, and locations define where classes take place.
Prerequisites
Before managing courses or locations, make sure:
- You have access to location settings
- You know which courses you plan to offer
- You know where your classes will be held
Manage Courses
Courses define the type of class being offered. These are assigned to your organization by Be Crash Free support during your onboarding. These can be changed later, by contacting Be Crash Free support
Manage Locations
Locations define where classes are held and may affect availability and capacity.
Steps
- Click on Locations in the left hand side navigation section

Review existing locations
Create or update a location as needed

- Confirm the location details are correct
When to Update Courses or Locations
Update these settings when:
- You are launching a new class offering
- A class location changes
- Capacity or availability changes
- Your organization gains or loses access to a course
Tips
- Always confirm course and location settings before creating a class
- Keep location details up to date to avoid scheduling issues
- Review settings regularly when adding new programs or locations
- Information like range size listed for your location is included on incident reports
- Google Maps links can be added to a location to help students navigate to a specific location at a given address
Troubleshooting
I cannot create a class
Check that:
- A course has been created and is available
- A location has been created and is available
A course is not available
- Confirm the course is enabled for your organization
- Check that it has not been removed or restricted
A location is missing
- Verify the location has been created
- Confirm it is active and available
